JONATHAN H. KEASEY

Of Counsel

“When I returned to the Pacific Northwest from Los Angeles to raise my children, I made it my mission to marry my unique experience as a WGA/studio writer and lawyer to elevate, empower and protect the immense talent pool in our region which deserves representation and access at the highest levels of Hollywood and beyond.”

Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge, as both an artist and deal-maker to his law practice.

As an attorney, Jonathan focuses on representing regional directors, musicians, athletes and gaming companies, leveraging his Hollywood background, extensive studio and indie film experience, and a rolodex that extends to Beverly Hills, New York, Europe and China.  After returning to Seattle from LA, he hit the ground running and within six months of being licensed in Washington, Jonathan brokered deals for Northwest artists with Netflix, Amazon, Skydance Media, France’s Good Hero, England’s ITV and even the Seattle Seahawks.

In addition to practicing law, Jonathan has spent the last fifteen years as a member of the prestigious Writers Guild of America, penning studio projects for Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios and A&E, among others.  Prior to working as a writer and producer, Jonathan worked in business affairs at Warner Brothers and International Creative Management.

Jonathan is also passionate about criminal and social justice  and serves as a legal and media consultant for Judges for Justice, the non-profit founded by Superior Court Judge and former State Senator, Mike Heavy.  As such, Jonathan is also beginning to work as a plaintiff’s attorney and his storytelling ability serves him great in a courtroom.

In his spare time, Jonathan loves spending time with his wife, two toddlers and dog.  He’s an avid runner and skier who escapes into the mountains as much as possible.
